iOS 11 should be available to download very soon. If you rely heavily on certain apps then you may want to check to see if they are going to run on the new OS from Apple.
It is very easy to check by doing the following:
- Select Settings on your Home Screen
- Select General
- Select About
- Select Applications
One of two things will now happen:
- You will see a list of applications that are not compatible
- Nothing will happen - great news. This means don't have any apps that are incompatible with iOS 11
If nothing happens then obviously you will have no worries. If a list does appear then you will want to look through the list to see if it contains apps that you just can't get through your day without. If they are popular apps then they will undoubtedly get updated. If you have an incompatible app which is not an app many know of and something that hasn't been updated in a while then you may have to try and contact the dev and ask them to make updates - or look for an alternative.
