I am sure that you will have tried typing the F word in a message to friends or family - perhaps even strangers - only to have the iOS keyboard replace it with the word 'Ducking'. To stop this from happening you could simply turn off auto correction in settings but auto correction is often very handy so is not recommended.
Below I will show you how you can stop your iPhone from replacing the F word.
- Open Settings
- Select General
- Select Keyboard
- Select Text Replacement
- Press the “+” sign in the top right
- Type the F word in both Phrase and Shortcut & select Save
- With that done the F word will not be replaced by Ducking. You may also repeat the process for -uck, -ucking, -ucked, -ucker
