★★ROOT★★
Kernel Toolkit is a new kernel settings manager for rooted Android devices running Android 4.1+.
XDA member Heisenberg420 says it is a solo project and the app is stable, however, it is not yet complete so there will be many updates to the app to get it to where he wants.
The current app provides all the main settings for kernel tuning with several other features currently being developed by the dev which he is hoping to add soon.
Current Features:
- Live device stats
- Time in CPU states with custom references
- Adjust kernel settings:
- CPU governor
- CPU governor parameter control
- I/O scheduler
- I/O scheduler parameters
- Read ahead buffer
- Voltage table control / global adjustment
- Enabled/disable system executables including Mpdecision, Pnpmgr
- Apply settings on boot
Features currently in development:
- Manage/backup/restore settings
- Help descriptions
- Intelliplug settings
- Thermal threshold settings
- 4.0 ICS compatibility
The dev is open to feature requests. These and bug reports can be emailed to [email protected]
