How to Install Wolf Launcher for Firestick

Below is a guide for installing the Wolf Launcher app on your Firestick. This installation uses Downloader. If you already have Downloader installed you can skip all the way past the Downloader installation guide and go straight to the URL needed to enter.

Wolf Launcher is a great app for changing the appearance of your Firestick homescreen. It is extremely customisable as you will see fromm the screenshots under the guide.

Features include:

  • Change wallpaper
  • Customise app tiles
  • Add new app sections
  • Move apps between sections
  • Hide apps
  • Toggle on/off: Status Bar, Clock, Date, Network Icon, Bluetooth Icon, USB Icon

  • Open Firestick/FireTV
  • Select Settings

  • In Settings scroll down and select My Fire TV

  • Select Developer Options

  • Select Apps from Unknown Sources

  • Select Turn On

  • Now go back to your Home Screen. Highlight Find and then select Search

  • Now use the keyboard and start typing Downloader. Once you see Downloader underneath select it

  • In the next screen select the Downloader icon

  • Select Download

  • Once downloaded select Open

  • Select Allow when asked to give Downloader access to files (necessary for it to install APKs)

  • Select OK once the app opens

  • You will now see the following screen. Select the URL section

  • Type 37043 and select Go

  • Select Delete again

  • Select Home

  • Delete the old code enter 38254 and select Go

  • Go back to your Fire Stick home screen & select your YOUR APPS & GAMES section

  • Select the Launcher Manager icon

  • Select Launcher Options

  • Select Enable Custom Launcher

  • It will now ask you to allow debugging select OK
  • You will now see the Wolf Launcher options screen. Just click on the home button on your Firestick to your new Home screen, which looks very basic

  • To start customising hit the hamburger button on your remote (3 horizontal lines)
