How to Install Spotify for Kodi Krypton Jarvis

This is a beta add-on that requires a premium Spotify account.

Install Spotify Kodi Jarvis:

  • Download the Marcelveldt Repository zip file and save to a location you can easily access from your Kodi device
  • Open Kodi
  • Select SYSTEM
  • Select Add-Ons
  • Select Install from zip file
  • Navigate to where you downloaded the zip in the first step and select repository.marcelveldt-1.0.1.zip
  • Wait for Add-on enabled notification
  • Select Install from repository or Get Add-Ons on Helix
  • Select Marcelveldt's BETA Repository
  • Select Music Add-Ons
  • Select Spotify
  • Select Install
  • Wait for Add-on enabled notification
  • Select Spotify
  • Select Configure
  • Add your Spotify Username and Password and select OK

The add-on should now be installed.

  • If the add-on does not open back out of Kodi and check your web browser to see if it has opened a page asking you to login to Spotify
  • You must now authorise the add-on so it has access to your Spotify account
  • You should now be able to open the add-on in Kodi and have access to your Spotify account
    Spotify is now installed and as usual the add-on can be accessed via MUSIC > Add-Ons > Spotify from your home screen.

Install Spotify Kodi Krypton:

  • Select add-on browser

  • Select Install from zip file

  • Navigate to where you downloaded the repository zip in the first step (possibly Home Folder > Downloads) and select repository.marcelveldt-x.x.x.zip

  • Wait for Add-on enabled notification

  • Select Install from repository

  • Select Marcelveldt's BETA repository

  • Select Music add-ons

  • Select Spotify

  • Select Install

  • Once you see the add-on enabled notification select Spotify again

  • Select Configure

  • Add your Spotify Username and Password details and select OK

Spotify is not setup and ready to use on your Kodi device.

  • If the add-on does not open back out of Kodi and check your web browser to see if it has opened a page asking you to login to Spotify
  • You must now authorise the add-on so it has access to your Spotify account
  • You should now be able to open the add-on in Kodi and have access to your Spotify account
    Spotify is now installed and as usual the add-on can be accessed via MUSIC > Add-Ons > Spotify from your home screen.
