How to Install Kodi and cCloud on a Firestick and Update librtmp

This guide will show you how to install Kodi on your Firestick and then install the fantastic cCloud TV add-on. It will also show you how to update your librtmp file.


How to Install Kodi on Firestick

  • Select Settings

  • Select System

  • Select Developer Options

  • Select Apps from Unknown Sources and turn ON

  • You will now see a warning message regarding unknown sources. Select OK you can turn off unknown sources later but we need it on to install Kodi

  • Go back to your FireStick Home Screen
  • Select Search & start typing ES File Explorer

  • Select ES File Explorer when the application appears

  • Select Free

  • When the application installs select Open

  • Select Favourite when ES File Explorer opens

  • Select Add

  • Select Path

  • Type the following EXACTLY http://kodi.tv/download & select Next

  • Type Kodi & select Next

  • Select Add

  • Scroll down your favourite list and select Kodi

  • The Kodi download page will now appear in the right hand window

  • Select ARM version of Android

  • Wait for Download to Complete

  • Select Open file

  • Select install

  • Select Install

  • Kodi will now install. Select Open and a clean install of Kodi will open ready for you to add your add-ons


How to Install cCloud on Firestick

  • Open Kodi
  • Select SYSTEM > File Manager

  • Select Add Source

  • Select None

  • Type the following EXACTLY http://fusion.tvaddons.ag and select Done

  • Highlight the box underneath Enter a name for this media Source & type fusion

  • Select OK

  • Go back to your Home Screen
  • Select SYSTEM

  • Select Add-Ons

  • Select Install from zip file

  • Select fusion

  • Select xbmc-repos

  • Select english

  • Select repository.podgod-x.x.zip

  • Wait for Add-on enabled notification

  • Select Install from repository or Get Add-Ons on Helix

  • Select podgod repo

  • Select Video Add-Ons

  • Select cCloud TV

  • Select Install

  • Wait for Add-on enabled notification

cCloud TV IPTV is now installed and ready to use. As usual the add-on can be accessed via VIDEOS > Add-Ons > cCloud TV


How to update librtmp

Windows Users

Download The Windows dll file from here

Place that file in here:

Windows 32-bit - Program Files/Kodi/system/players/dvdplayer/

Windows 64-bit - Program Files (x86)/Kodi/system/players/dvdplayer/


Android ARM users

Download your librtmp from here

And place the file in here

/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/lib/ (you may need to create the lib directory yourself)


Android x86 Users

Download your librtmp from here

And place the file in here

/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/lib/ (you may need to create the lib directory yourself)


OS X Users

Download your librtmp from here

And place the file in here

/Applications/Kodi.app/Contents/Libraries/
